Introducing image hotspots
June 22, 2026

You can now add interactive hotspots to any image in your courses. Drop markers onto a diagram, photo, or map, and learners tap each one to reveal a label and explanation.
What it's for
Image hotspots turn a static picture into something learners explore. Label the hazards in a workplace photo, point out the controls on a piece of equipment, annotate a process diagram, or mark regions on a map — anywhere the detail lives in the image itself.
How it works
Add an image hotspots block, choose your image, and click to place markers exactly where you want them. Drag to reposition, and give each marker a label, a short tooltip, and an optional longer explanation. You can add up to twelve markers per image.
What learners see
In the published course, learners tap a marker to open a panel showing its details, one at a time. The markers stay correctly placed at any screen size.
Works everywhere
Image hotspots are part of every plan, and they work in the course preview and in both SCORM and HTML exports — so the interaction is preserved wherever you host your training.
