Creating your first course

Here is the shortest path from nothing to a finished course.

1. Create the course

From your dashboard, create a new course. Give it a title you can change later.

2. Add modules and blocks

A course is made of modules, and each module is made of blocks. Add a module, then use the Add block button to insert content and interactive elements. See the Blocks overview for what each block does.

3. Brand it

Set your logo, colours, and fonts so the course looks like yours rather than a generic template. See Branding your course.

4. Publish or export

When you are happy, publish the course or export it. See Publishing your course and Exporting to SCORM or HTML.

A realistic first goal

Do not try to build everything at once. A tight course with five to seven modules that ships beats a sprawling one that never does.
